The tables show the latest position in
the Newmarket Badminton Federation Leagues, with just a couple of months of the
season to go.
St. Phillips A have steamed to the top of
the Men’s First Division with several recent good results, although they have
yet to meet pre-season favourites Newmarket.
Haverhill Borders are now a massive 10 points clear at the top of the
Second Division after convincing wins against St. Phillips B 4˝-1˝ and
Crossways 5˝-˝.
The only change in the Ladies Divisions
is the Littleport Ladies who reversed their away score to beat Crossways 5-1
and move ahead of them in the Second Division.
Howard have slid in the Mixed Second
Division, partly due to losing to Haverhill 6-3 with Haverhill’s Robin Stock
and Lisa Woodward winning all their games on the night. But they are not having it all their own
way, going down 5˝-3˝ at Linton who move up into second place. Soham A are the
movers in the Third Division after wins against Littleport 8-1 and Crossways
5˝-3˝.
